Our path toward equality

Ellas Vuelan Alto is born
The association is registered in the National Register of Associations, with the statutes that remain in force and our declaration of values and objectives: to make women visible in the aerospace field and to work toward their inclusion in relevant positions within the sector.

Our public launch
Instituto de Ingeniería de España hosted our public launch event, which featured the participation of Soledad Murillo, Secretary of State for Equality, and Alicia Sánchez Camacho, First Secretary of the Congreso de los Diputados, among other distinguished guests.

We held our first event
We organized a debate on the future of the aerospace and aviation industry in Spain and the role of women within it.

First edition of our Gender Equality Promotion Awards
As part of the celebration of our first anniversary, we presented the individual award to Carmen Librero, president of Ineco, while Airbus was recognized in the company category.

Matilde Ucelay Award in the Entity category
Ministerio de Transportes, Movilidad y Agenda Urbana recognized our “active role in achieving a more visible and participatory position for women, creating support and information networks and decisively promoting female empowerment.”

Renewal of the Board of Directors
Gema Martín del Burgo was appointed as the new president of the association, taking over from Teresa Busto.

Recognition of our work
We received the “Clara Campoamor, for Commitment to Equality” award from the Ilustre Colegio de Abogados de Madrid; and recognition in the Equality category from the newspaper El Economista.
